Instead of feeling like you are swimming upstream and against the current, learn how you can work with yourself, support your body and mind, and replenish your energy so that you can do the things you love and that bring you joy.
Self care is something that is largely misunderstood in our modern life. Most people think of bubble baths, a glass of wine at the end of the day or shopping sprees to release stress and pamper ourselves as tools for self care.
What if self care actually means taking care of your whole self by attending to your daily needs?
What if we celebrated getting a good night's sleep, focused on nourishing meals that are evenly spaced throughout the day to help support our digestion, hormones and emotions and brought in easeful movement, breathwork and meditation to care for our body and mind, reduce stress and regulate our nervous system?
Over 3 months we will explore, layer and weave together simple daily habits of yoga and Ayurveda to support your well-being.
This course is designed to help you tap into your inner wisdom through self-care, self-exploration, and habit evolution.
In this course we will explore and cultivate:

Testimonials from past participants:
"I enjoyed a wonderful 14 week journey to learn about Ayurveda. I have grown so much, not only in the practice of Ayurveda, but in the confidence to trust my instincts to care for myself and my family. Chrissy is a wonderful, generous and gracious teacher and I thank her for sharing her experiences with the group so that we can benefit from her vast knowledge and wisdom." - Heather
"The Sacred Living class is a lovely, holistic approach to self-exploration, personal growth, balance, and self-care. Chrissy provides thorough handouts to support each week’s topic, and I refer back to them often in my daily practice. I value the guidance and structure that Chrissy brings to each class, as well as the wisdom of her life experience. “Sacred Living” is a life-long practice and I’m so grateful that Chrissy shared the tools and resources to help us get started. I now understand why Ayurveda is considered a "sister science" to Yoga - they complement each other perfectly. I would highly recommend this course to everyone!" - Sherry
“I have spent this past year wanting to learn how to truly nourish and look after myself. This is something I have struggled with for a long time and it hasn’t been easy to face the beliefs and conditioning that were stopping me. Through the Sacred Living course, a new experience was awakened within me of what it feels like to be cared for by myself, and how that changes my relationship with some of the old feelings and beliefs I was holding on to. With the habits we explored, Chrissy’s compassionate encouragement and the meaningful journal questions that we worked through I have transformed a list of self-care shoulds into loving rituals that connect me with the feeling of nourishment I was searching for. I feel inspired by this feeling and what may be possible beyond it. I am also feeling empowered by the tools and practices that were shared to continue into another year of learning how my body, mind and spirit want to be cared for. This course provided the learning and accountability I needed to support myself through the blockages of old patterning in my life. I am worth looking after and it feels really good to not just think that but to know that and feel it. Thank you, Chrissy.” - Erin
“Chrissy’s class has been instrumental in helping me gain new insights and build a stronger connection with myself. I learned how to create good habits and routines through small manageable changes. The ayurvedic approach of self-love and easeful living really resonates with me and is something that I want to continue learning more about. Chrissy’s is a bright light and she is very generous with her knowledge, time and delicious recipes!” - Laurie
"I knew very little about Ayurveda when I signed up to take the Sacred Living course this spring. But the prospect of learning ‘how to embrace my self-worth and create time and space for myself’ was a lifeline I knew I needed to grab. Over 14 weeks, under Chrissy’s warm and compassionate guidance, I felt something shift in my awareness and found I was thinking about myself differently. All those “shoulds” (under the big “I should take better care of myself” umbrella) that had rolled around in my head for years became much more do-able when broken down into small, gentle, manageable habits. Chrissy’s depth of knowledge, kindness and generosity in sharing her personal experiences made the course so meaningful. I enjoyed being part of a community of like-minded women who made it safe and easy to share challenges and successes, however big or small. I now have a few key habits I believe I will always carry with me - and have already made a noticeable difference in my well-being and peace of mind." - Susan
“My Sacred Life course with Chrissy has helped me to shift to some new, health promoting habits in a gentle, sustainable way. I highly recommend it!” - Lynn
“I have participated in a number of classes, workshops and courses taught by Chrissy. Her breadth of knowledge is amazing, and is enhanced as she only teaches what she herself has experienced, so real life experiences. She strives to create a safe place to be curious about your mind, body and breath. I have learned a lot in the My Sacred Course about Ayurveda. Chrissy prepares thoughtful reflection questions and summaries for each class. You are encouraged to share your reflections, which has the added benefit of not only learning from Chrissy, but from the Sangha. The format is easy to follow. I highly recommend this class.” - Belinda
“Each week for 14 weeks this past fall, I looked forward to meeting with Chrissy and the other wonderful women in our group, to share our learning, our victories, our insights and challenges. We started to discover that our challenges were in fact our victories because we were doing things differently and making changes, which is one of the biggest blocks to growth as we get older. We challenged our old ways and evolved in gentle ways that would bring us greater joy, health and happiness. As we’re aging this gets more and more important and with Yoga and Ayurveda, the concept of Aging Gracefully truly holds promise for us. (It’s no accident that the Yogis are some of the oldest inhabitants on the planet as Yoga and Ayurveda are that powerful.) You might even fall in love with yourself and your ever evolving self. The layers that we’re made of: our breath, our body, the levels of our mind and spirit can be transformed such that our old selves become our beloved old friends, and a path of integration becomes a reality that’s one of ever growing love and kindness, first inwardly to ourselves and then outwardly to others and the world.” - M
